Thanks for visiting my site. My name is Maike W. Kellner; my friends call me Micah. I was born in Cuxhaven, Germany and raised in Portland, Maine. I am a coastal girl at heart. The closer I am to water, the happier I get!

I did my undergraduate Business and Communication studies at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. My interest in law brought me to Michigan and has lead me to my current employment with a unique group of veterans. I am in the process of finishing up my MBA from Drexel University and hope to use my new found knowledge with a company that supports the military and their families.

Background

What would you do if you survived a mass shooting? Would you cower in the corner and let life pass you by or would you grab it by the horns? I chose to live life to the fullest.

I am an Operations Assistant for Sheepdog Response, a self defense company based out of Austin Texas, and specialize in event planning, logistics and management. I am extremely driven, task oriented and a super organizer and it gives me great pride and purpose to help others learn how to protect themselves.

Having had the opportunity to live and work throughout the United States and Germany has proven invaluable. Working with and for different people has been a wonderful experience. And it does not hurt being fluent in German.

With a MBA and a law degree, I feel comfortable working on a diverse range of assignments. I am drawn to projects where my organizational skills can shine. My German heritage really becomes apparent when having to deal with rules and bureaucracy, I thrive in it. I like to joke and say I specialize in organizational wizardry!
